We’ve made it to the end of yet another week of social distancing, and the wonderful world wide web has provided us with a plethora of videos, tours and posts to keep our spirits up. Here are our favourite moments from recent days.

Tours

Going on a virtual is certainly one of the more unique ways to experience the art that Paris has to offer, and it’s been one of our favourites for the past few months. This week, we took a trip to the Sacré-Cœur, who are offering guided online virtual tours on their website. Paying a visit to this French basilica has never seemed so easy!

Another virtual adventure that’s graced us this week is the Sainte-Chapelle interactive panoramic tour. Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming tickets to their concert series and have a look inside the enchanting building for yourself.

Streaming

We were spoilt for choice with the streaming options this week, starting with the Opéra de Paris’ production of ‘Play’, a ballet choreographed by the talented Alexander Ekman. Check it out here!

The Royal Ballet’s 2005 production of ‘The Wayward Daughter’, choreographed by Frederich Ashton, is now available for viewing on YouTube! Step into the Royal Opera House and immerse yourself in this passionate tale of love.

The National Theatre has been consistently providing us with entertaining shows, and this week was certainly no exception. Their production of Small Island has recently been uploaded, so be sure to check it out while it’s still available! It’s one of our favourites.

Blog

As usual, we’ve been keeping our blog up to date, including a fascinating insight into Paris’ dance culture, as well as a guide to all of our favourite picnic spots around the city! We hope you enjoy.
