Now, the Palais des Congrès welcomes this timeless ballet onto its stage to be discovered or revisited by audiences in Paris. Incorporating the contemporary direction of choreographer Marius Petipa, behold a poetic and enchanting vision for all the family to enjoy and revel in.

Story: Swan Lake at Palais des Congrès

A tale that has been passed down through the ages, having been subject to hundreds of retellings and adaptations, now sparkles upon the stage of the Palais des Congrès in its original form. Swan Lake tells the story of a young woman, Odette, afflicted with a terrible curse that transforms her into a swan by day. It is only when a young prince happens across her on a hunting trip that she gains hope that, upon finding true love, she will be free from the tyranny of the sorcerer Rothbart and achieve true freedom. However, the course of true love never did run smooth…

A romantic story, injected with punches of tragedy, yearning, and ultimate deliverance, are brought to life through the delicate and intimate artistry of some of the best contemporary talents in ballet. A treat for the eyes and ears awaits you at the Palais des Congrés in Paris!
