It's a theatre that few visitors to Paris know about, yet it is located at the most visited spot in Paris. Its entrance is to the left of the Trocadero esplanade, looking up at the aptly named Iron Lady: the Eiffel Tower.
You enter through a heavy wrought-iron glass door. Once through the door, you climb a monumental staircase that leads you to the colonnaded Grand Foyer.

The huge glass walls of the Grand Foyer look directly out onto the gardens and fountains of the Trocadéro... and the greatest attraction in Paris: the Eiffel Tower.
The effect is spectacular, especially when the great Iron Lady shines with a thousand lights, filling the Grand Foyer with countless sparkling rays.

Start the evening with a reflection on the rhythms that inhabit us, and continue with an intelligent and harmonious dialogue between body and object.

R-A-U-X-A by Aina Alegre is a rhythmic and sonic exploration of movement. In this universe, dance, sound and light merge to give life to an exploration of movement. Aina Alegre, alone on stage, weaves a fascinating dialogue between her body and the pulsations of electro-acoustic music.
Inspired by the ancestral gesture of hammering, the Spanish choreographer takes the audience on a quest for the origins of rhythm and vibration. Her body becomes a percussive instrument that responds to Josep Tutusaus' electronic score.
R-A-U-X-A reveals itself as a succession of sonic and visual landscapes, where movement, body sound and machines interact in perfect symbiosis.

In the second half of the evening, Ola Maciejewska pays tribute to Loïe Fuller, an emblematic figure of American modern dance coined as a pioneer of the “abstraction in dance”. In Loïe Fuller : Research, the choreographer, performer and visual artist revisits the serpentine dance motifs invented by Loïe Fuller at the end of the 19th century.
Ola Maciejewska creates sensitive forms to reinterpret this famous serpentine dance in her own way. Her work is part of a quest to pass on and re-read a major choreographer's work.
