Conceived as a must-attend event for opera and classical music enthusiasts, the festival will honour masterpieces by composers such as Verdi, Mozart, Puccini, Bizet, Bellini, Offenbach and Gounod. Each evening will feature a unique programme, performed by outstanding voices from major European opera houses.

The refined and intimate atmosphere of the Musée Jacquemart-André, with its period salons and art galleries, will offer audiences an immersive and elegant experience, where music blends with architecture and history. In a rare closeness between artists and audience, this festival aims to be both prestigious and intimate.

Through this first edition, the Paris Lyric Festival seeks to combine artistic excellence, heritage and accessibility. An invitation to rediscover great opera arias in a timeless setting, for a musical journey in the heart of the capital.

History and Fun Facts about the Jacquemart-André Museum

On the bustling boulevard Hausmann is an incredible haven of peace, a 19th century "grand bourgeois" residence that has been turned into a museum by preserving the original layout. Like the Wallace Collection in London or the Frick Collection in New York, Paris can surely boast about a museum such as the Jacquemart-André Museum!

This beautiful and luxurious mansion was once the home of Edouard André, heir to one of the largest fortunes of the Second Empire, and his wife Nélie Jacquemart, a young painter. The two of them assembled a collection that would make any art lover go crazy. From Bellini to Fragonard, via Van Dyck, Houdon, Nattier, Mantegna, Rembrandt, Reynolds, Canaletto, van Ruisdael, Vigée-Lebrun... All the finest artists of the classics are here.

A museum since 1913, this magnificent building is hosting exceptional exhibitions devoted to artists such as Johann Heinrich Füssli, Svend Hammershoï, and Sandro Botticelli, as well as high-quality musical evenings… of which Theatre in Paris is now an official partner! With only a handful of invitations accepted per night, take advantage of this truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see a show in the famous Jacquemart-André Museum!
