HIGHLIGHTS: OMBRES PORTÉES DE RAPHAËLLE BOITEL

Immerse yourself in the fascinating, hypnotic world of Raphaëlle Boitel, renowned circus artist and choreographer, with her show Ombres portées, currently on at the Théâtre Silvia Monfort. A cross between circus, theatre and dance, this show takes you on a journey through the twists and turns of memory and identity.

On stage, six talented acrobats move with grace and virtuosity, accompanied by spellbinding music. They embody the different characters in a family story marked by secrets and things left unsaid. Through their bodies and movements, they explore the recesses of memory, revealing the wounds of the past and the deep bonds that unite the members of this family.

Ombres portées is a visual show in which light and shadow play a key role. The trappings of the circus are transformed into everyday objects and metaphors for life, while the lighting effects and projections create a dreamlike, truly poetic atmosphere.

Looking beyond family history, Ombres portées invites us to reflect on the quest for identity. How are our memories constructed? How do our experiences shape who we are? This show explores the light and shade that exist in all of us.

Let us take you on a journey to the edges of dreams and realities, inspired by dynamic 50s thrillers, science fiction stories and comic strips. This is a show to be experienced without a second thought!
