Story: Los Guardiola - The Comedy of Tango

For a seventh consecutive year, the sensational duo Los Guardiola takes to the Parisian stage. Enjoy a procession of seven spellbinding scenes in which commedia dell'arte, mime, and Argentinian tango converge in an explosive performance of intimacy, humour, and dynamism. It comes as no surprise that in Buenos Aires, 2004, this terrific twosome was granted the Nueva Generacion diploma of honour for their contribution to tango – but their outstanding critical reception doesn’t stop there! The National Academy of Tango of the Argentine Republic undertook the duo as their sponsor in 2016, in recognition of their in work in promoting the art form through mime and music. Don’t miss the chance to see their rhythmic mastery in action…and see them again…and again, with friends! You’ll never tire of Los Guardiola’s boundless talents. They returned from Edinburgh Fringe Festivals 2022 and 2023 to rave reviews from audiences and the cultural press alike among which BroadwayBaby.com and One4review.co.uk (5 stars each).

Los Guardiola
"Original and tender... a rediscovery of mime... poetic... Beautiful and talented dancers... the woman even dances a tango in her dance slippers... on pointe! TOP!" - Translated from the French rating
Richard Beck from Broadwaybaby.com
Remarkable Elegance
Drawing from the traditions of commedia dell’arte – masks, mime, immaculate black and white costumes – Los Guardiola pay tribute to the tango of the early twentieth century.

Superb Tango Dancers
Extremely slick, immaculately timed, clever, and humorous. This is European-style mimed comedy at its best.
