Highlights: Expat Night - Les Virtuoses

English speakers based in Paris gather for Paris Expat Theatre Night, to enjoy drinks, meet fellow expats, and see a show at one of the city's many playhouses. The first Expat Night events brought us to see intimate musicals, modern comedies, and some classic French drama. They were such a sell-out success that we’ve decided to create a monthly event!

Story: Expat Night - Les Virtuoses

In May, we're bringing our Expat theatre buff friends to see musical wonder Les Virtuoses, playing at the Théâtre Fontaine in the heart of the Paris theatre district. After the show, we will gather at the nearby Sparks Paris bar to share a drink (included with the ticket!) and catch up on all things Paris.

About the show

Virtuoso brothers Mathias and Julien are unequivocally captivating on the piano and utterly hypnotizing with their clownish, yet tasteful magic tricks. Leaving audiences awestruck, Les Virtuoses is like something you’d see on Broadway, but with a Parisian twist. Perfect for the whole family! This show is nothing short of mesmerizing, expertly mixing music, magic, and miming to create, what is perhaps, the most unique show you’ll ever see.

Théâtre Fontaine

Abandoned by its owners due to its black market activities during the early 1900s, the building where the Théâtre Fontaine now stands once was a famous, high-class cabaret called Le Chantilly. Bought in 1951 by two audacious and uniquely dynamic accomplices, the rundown space was transformed into a theatre.

After an expansion to accommodate more theatre-goers, Théâtre Fontaine has continued its tradition as a space for comedies and classics to take the stage and keep audiences laughing. The interior has kept its 1950s flair with its checkerboard entryway, plush red velvet seating and celestial ceiling.
