HIGHLIGHTS: BODY CONCERT

Korean artists are making more and more headlines.
Here, at last, is a dream opportunity to see the creative vitality of the Korean scene.

Body Concert, presented at the Théâtre du Rond-Point from November 20th to November 23rd, 2024, is a truly jubilant dance show by the celebrated Korean group the Ambiguous Dance Company. Directed by the talented Boram Kim, this troupe offers a show, or rather an extraordinary performance, celebrating movement and the body.

On stage, the dancers of Ambiguous Dance Company create one luminous tableau after another with boundless energy. Classical ballet, hip-hop, contemporary dance, techno raves... all styles mix and mingle in a joyful harmony that blurs the boundaries between choreographic genres.

Body Concert is not a show that takes itself seriously. It's about humour, lightness and the pleasure of dance, with choreography punctuated by beaming smiles and moments of pure madness.

It's an infectious, unifying show that's sure to electrify you. With its lively music, inventive choreography and energy, the show is a real invitation to party and celebrate life.

Don't wait another minute… Let yourself be swept away by the madness of this Korean show for the whole family!

Théâtre du Rond-Point

If you ever want to feel the pulse of the French theatre scene, the Théâtre du Rond-Point is the place to be! But which roundabout or "rond-point" is it exactly? It's one of the most famous roundabouts in Paris, located near the Champs-Elysées, smaller than the famous Etoile roundabout under the Arc de Triomphe. Since 1981, it has attracted a host of directors from all over the world and a host of people with a passion for theatre. A major venue for contemporary creation since 1991, the Rond-Point does not programme "what people like, but what they don't yet know they like", according to Jean-Michel Ribes, the theatre's former director. Since 2023, Laurence de Magalhaes and Stéphane Ricordel have taken over the reins of this theatre, which is still rooted in contemporary creation and focuses on living authors.
