Saint-Germain-des-Prés Church Concerts during the holiday season
Of all the churches in Paris, this is the oldest of them all - but, much like with Santa Claus himself, age comes with a timeless charm. Constructed in the 6th century, in what was, at the time, luscious countryside, Saint-Germain-des-Prés Church is still standing today, now located in the dead centre of Paris. This venue's richly historic interior will have new life breathed into it, thanks to some of Paris's foremost orchestral groups. In particular, that iconic series of four violin concertos that we all know and love will resound throughout the church. As you listen to the opening bars of 'Spring,' you'll truly believe that Vivaldi's Four Seasons was written to be played in Saint-Germain-des-Prés!

Saint-Séverin Church Concerts on Christmas and New Year’s
A treat for both the ears and eyes, the Saint-Séverin Church features some of the most powerful religious imagery in the country, including the fresco The Tree of Jesse, which was the first instance of western art where the image of a tree was used to depict a family.
On Christmas day, the church's rafters will ring with the stunning vocalizations of renowned soprano Sabine Revault d'Allonnes, and on New Year's Eve, the trumpet and organ unite as the stars of the show.
