Since Platée was first performed at Versailles in 1745, it has immensely grown in popularity. This classic opera with a jaw-dropping twist is presented by the Paris Opera at the Palais Garnier under the acclaimed direction of Laurent Pelly, one of France’s most sought out directors. Dive into the magical world of the repulsive frog, Greek gods, and the spirit of madness itself and discover the love, manipulation, and irony dispersed throughout this comic opera.
