Eiffel Tower Concert Series

Take your girls to this one-woman show in English in Paris! Comedian and Parisian, Julie Collas will take you through typical activities in Parisian life as she pokes fun at many of the French clichés you might experience on your trip.

Shopping in Paris with the girls
The Marais
Escape the crowds at Galeries Lafayette and Champs-Élysées by spending an afternoon in the historic Marais neighbourhood! Located in the 3rd and 4th arrondissements, this quarter is home to some of the oldest buildings in all of Paris, as well as a growing number of swanky luxury boutiques. On a tighter budget? Check out the Westfield Forum des Halles at Châtelet or some of the second hand shops where you can pay by weight.
La Grande Épicerie de Paris for snacks and souvenirs
This gourmet épicerie or “corner store” is the perfect place for foodies to try out different French offerings like cheese, cured meats, and wine. Its large selection of decorative tins of sweets also makes it the perfect place to shop for small (edible) souvenirs to take home!
Westfield Forum des Halles: Châtelet mall
This massive contemporary shopping complex offers familiar international brands like Zara and H&M, but you’ll also be able to discover some new stores and casual restaurants. There’s also a cinema… and a swimming pool!
The Best Vintage Shops or friperies
Take home some unique pieces from a Parisian friperie! For an inexpensive gem, spend some time combing through the racks at Les Sales Voleurs, where the prices decrease each day of the week. For second hand designer clothing, Bobby has a large and meticulously curated selection. Other well-known friperies in Paris include: Kilo Shop, Episode, Free’p’star, etc.
The Best Flea Markets or Marchés aux puces
You can find markets all over Paris on the weekends, but the most famous is Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen, it’s the largest in the world! Here you can find trinkets and antiques as well as art and designer clothes. Come prepared, you may be here all day! Open from Saturday to Monday.

Museums and exhibits for the girls
Agnès Varda exhibition at Musée Carnavalet
Celebrate an icon of feminist filmmaking at this exhibit at Musée Carnavalet, which focuses on Agnes Varda’s photography. In addition to her many pictures of Paris, visitors can also view a sculpture of Varda’s cat and a variety of personal objects which belonged to the esteemed director. A must-see for lovers of French New Wave or Left Bank cinema!
Musée Marmottan Monet
No trip to Paris is complete without seeing some great works of art up close. This museum, nestled within the 16th arrondissement, contains the world’s largest collection of art by Claude Monet. Housed in a former hunting lodge, the museum offers an intimate insight into the painter’s world, thanks in particular to the famous painting Impression, soleil elvant. As well as Monet, there are works by other Impressionists such as Morisot, Renoir and Pissarro. A peaceful, refined setting, it highlights Monet’s sensitivity and artistic development!
Monet was known for his use of rapid, broken brushstrokes, and seeing the pieces in person allows you to appreciate all the detail. Take your time here and imagine him adding each swipe to the canvas.
Musée de l’Orangerie
Still can’t get enough of impressionism? Located near the Louvre in the Jardin des Tuileries, the Musée de l’Orangerie is famous for housing Claude Monet’s Water Lilies, exhibited in two large oval rooms bathed in natural light. It also showcases the Walter-Guillaume collection, rich in works by major 20th-century artists such as Renoir, Cézanne, Picasso, Matisse and Modigliani. Intimate and bright, this museum offers a unique immersion in modern art.

Located in the 10th arrondissement, this lively restaurant features a seasonal menu and pasta made in house with a mission to reduce environmental impact. Chic and trendy, it’s a good pick for dinner with your girlfriends.

Each night is something different at Le Baiser Salé. Arrive early and grab drinks at the bar because this well known Parisian venue can get full!
Supersonic Club
If you and your girls like to dance, this may be the place for you! This indie rock club near Place de la Bastille is open late on weekends and is known for its live music and themed nights. It offers three free concerts a night, a New York loft decor with a mezzanine, and a convivial bar on the ground floor. Cocktails, craft beers and after-shows complete the experience: music, socialising and an electric yet relaxed atmosphere. The perfect place for evenings out with girlfriends.
