HIGHLIGHTS

A lively program of talented artists changes each evening, head out for a night of jazz music in the very heart of Paris! Frequented by Parisians and travelers alike, get your ticket to one of the hottest jazz clubs in the city, the Baiser Salty! As artists change the evening, the show might last longer than the time displayed on the programme. Feel free to grab a drink at the joints wide horseshoe-shaped bar, complete with a colorful menu of tropical cocktails and more!

STORY

An unbeatable hot spot for all jazz lovers from around the world. Both tourists and locals alike get a kick out of listening to the sensational international artists who perform on stage in Baiser. A dream come true for three Caribbean brothers, they decided to inaugurate the locale in the 1980s and since that day forth it has been the place to be when talking about the jitterbug and the blues. Everyday there is something new to hear, vocal, trumpets, piano, bass, drums and even fusion jazz. The club’s nice little bar downstairs is the perfect place to start off the night before watching the show, considering the bartender knows how to make a mean drink! When visiting the venue, we strongly suggest coming in early, the place can get quite crowded.

Le Baiser Salé Jazz Club

58 Rue des Lombards, 75001 Paris

In 1983 the Gibson brothers created this legendary jazz club in the very heart of Paris. Musicians themselves, the three brothers of Cuban origin wanted to create a warm environment where anyone could come and listen to live music and enjoy a drink. For over 35 years, Parisians and travelers alike can enjoy a rich program of talented artists changing each evening in this warm welcoming atmosphere. The list of artists that made their big break at Le Baiser Salé continues to grow, including jazz greats you can find at international jazz festivals such as Richard Bona and Angélique Kidjo and also Monica Passos, Ultramarine, Les Étoiles, Sylvain Luc, Rido Bayonne, Leni Stern, Thierry Elliez, Etienne Mbappé, Mario Canonge, Nguyen Le...the list goes on.

One of the most well-known Parisian jazz clubs, Le Baiser Salé has certainly earned its reputation as one of the best places to discover new talent. Here the musicians are free and encouraged to create and invent, to take risks and to give birth to unlikely matchups, you never know what surprises they have in store! You'll even have the chance to continue the evening and join the performers at the venue's large horseshoe-shaped bar for a drink.
