SALES ASSISTANT INTERN
Working with the sales team, the intern will contribute to the commercial development of the company, source new sales opportunities, and generate leads and prospects.
GENERAL PRESENTATION OF THE INTERNSHIP
THEATRE IN PARIS is an award-winning start-up company born from the observation that in spite of Paris’s status as a world theatre capital on par with New York and London, most people ignore it because of the language barrier.
Thanks to an exclusive English subtitling solutions, we have overcome this barrier. We are the only company selling tickets for French theatre plays and musicals with English subtitles so they can be enjoyed by a broader audience. In 2016, we have welcomed guests of more than 60 nationalities.
We're looking for an enthusiastic individual interested in growing our BtoB sales in the international travel industry (tour-operators, travel agencies, cruise companies, etc.).
This internship is an opportunity to work for a quickly growing start-up in central Paris with a highly driven team where you can grow your skill set in a variety of fields.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
As an intern, you will:
- Research accounts, generate, and follow through sales leads, using various sales methods (cold calling, personal meetings, etc.)
- Provide support to Account Managers in assigned territories
- Participate in weekly strategic sales meetings
- Interact directly with the founders and executive team on a daily basis
YOUR STUDIES & EXPERIENCE
Education (University/Schools targeted):
Student in Sales and/or Business preferred
Tourism Management degree accepted only with a strong sales background
Knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics:
Language: native English – good French
Team participation skills and willingness to work hard, learn and train
Planning, autonomy & rigor
Communication and presentation skills, international mindset
Creativity and commercial awareness
Ability and desire to sell
Successful sales experience would be a plus.
Knowledge of the tourism industry would be a plus.
