You wanted a strong show after your return from the holidays?
There's one waiting for you on the stage of the Théâtre du Rond-Point on the “très chic” Champs-Élysées Avenue.

Fuck Me is a contemporary dance show created by Argentinian artist and performer Marina Otero. It is a bold, introspective work that explores vulnerability, identity, and memory. Through a highly provocative staging, Otero literally lays herself bare, both literally and figuratively, using her body as her main means of expression.

The show is conceived as a danced autobiography in which Otero shares intimate episodes from her life, her desires, her fears, and her wounds. Dance, the most powerful body language, transmits raw, authentic emotions. The minimalist set design highlights the physical performance of the artists and creates a disconcerting atmosphere.

Fuck Me stands out for its uncompromising, direct approach, breaking taboos and pushing back the boundaries of artistic representation. Otero defies social and artistic conventions, inviting the audience to reflect deeply on the human condition and the place of art in society. The show is also marked by direct interaction with the audience, blurring the boundaries between stage and seating and creating a collective experience.

Fuck Me is a very powerful, thought-provoking show.

Please note that this show is recommended for ages 16 and up, as it includes many scenes of full nudity.

Théâtre du Rond-Point

If you ever want to feel the pulse of the French theatre scene, the Théâtre du Rond-Point is the place to be! But which roundabout or "rond-point" is it exactly? It's one of the most famous roundabouts in Paris, located near the Champs-Elysées, smaller than the famous Etoile roundabout under the Arc de Triomphe. Since 1981, it has attracted a host of directors from all over the world and a host of people with a passion for theatre. A major venue for contemporary creation since 1991, the Rond-Point does not programme "what people like, but what they don't yet know they like", according to Jean-Michel Ribes, the theatre's former director. Since 2023, Laurence de Magalhaes and Stéphane Ricordel have taken over the reins of this theatre, which is still rooted in contemporary creation and focuses on living authors.
